One of our 2023 goals is to support public education more vigorously. In recent years, extremist conservative groups have started to target public education systems, attempting to make them a battleground in a political and cultural war. This year, WAVE will raise money to support our work in public education.
With the funds raised, we will seek to amplify the messages of our partner organizations, counter the misleading information from the extreme right, invest in worthy candidates, and advocate for those issues that restore respect and values in our educational system.
